Dr. Laura Masís is a specialist in Periodontics. Her professional studies were conducted at the University of Costa Rica where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry in 2004. Since her undergraduate her pursuits have followed that of periodontics, so after engaging in general private practices and with the Social Security Fund, she entered the internship of Periodontology at the University of Costa Rica, reaffirming her passion for this branch. She decided to move to Colombia for her graduate studies at the Pontifical Javeriana University, where in 2012 she obtained her specialty. From this moment onwards, she has practiced exclusively in Periodontics in private practice and as a university professor at the Universities of Costa Rica. Dr. Masis is in constant training and participates in various conferences as a speaker. Dr. Masis is an active member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Costa Rica and the Costa Rican Academy of Periodontology. Dr. A. Milena Murillo Ch. finished high school in Costa Rica and traveled to Tennessee, U.S.A. to learn English in 1997, where she stayed for a year as an exchange student in Sevier County High School. When she returned to Costa Rica, she received her degree from the "Universidad Latina de Costa Rica" in 2004 and in the same year she became a member of the Dental Surgeons College of Costa Rica. This organization monitors and certifies professionals working nationwide. Her membership code is 267304. Dr. Murillo has practiced in Tilarán, Guanacaste since 2004. Initially, she worked for five years in the Orthodent Americana Dental Office, after which she started her own business, were she is still working today. Her Dental Practice has the permission of the Ministerio de Salud (Health Ministery). Dra. Milena Murillo loves to give a healthy and beautiful smile to her patients and therefore most of her patients are referrals by other patients. When she is not at the office, Dra. Murillo enjoys spending time with her husband at home, eating out at restaurants and visiting Costa Rica's beautiful beaches.
