E2 HOMES

Founded in 2005 in Orlando, FL, E2 Homes is owned and managed by Rob Smith, CGC and LEED AP. A native of Central Florida, Smith has a B.S.in Economics and a Master in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. His wife Denise Smith is the firm's licensed Registered Landscape Artist (RLA). A graduate of Purdue University, she is also LEED AP. The firm has won over a dozen industry awards, including several LEED Project of the Year designations from the US Green Building Council (USGBC). In 2012, the firm built a net-zero energy home and became the first builder in the country to obtain a prestigious Department of Energy home certification. In 2017, E2 was honored with an award for building the state's first ever LEED home to receive a v4 Certification.
