Alex's responsibilities within the GBA Secretariat include project management, strategy development and membership engagement. Alex's responsibilities also include the Battery Passport PMO, where he is responsible for establishing a plan for the future implementation and organizational structure of the Battery Passport system. Alex has been leading Operational Excellence in ERG since 2015, prior to that he worked for Boston Consulting Group. Alex graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Inga Petersen is a seasoned international affairs and sustainability professional with over twelve years' experience in natural resource management, governance and transparency. She started her career delivering technical assistance projects to enhance the development dividends of the mining sector. As senior manager in the Extractive Industries team of the global advisory firm Adam Smith International, she worked directly with governments and donors, designing and managing extractive industries governance projects across Africa. This allowed her to witness the opportunities and challenges related to natural resource extraction first hand. She subsequently worked with global business leaders and policy makers at the World Economic Forum to lead the mining and metals sector's transition to a sustainable world. Prior to joining the GBA as Executive Director, Inga acted as Senior Extractives Adviser to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Inga holds a Bachelor from the University of Bath, a Masters in International Relations & International Security from the Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), Paris and an Executive Master in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Jennifer has over 12 years of administration-related experience working in corporate and no-profit, multicultural environments in South Africa. Besides her passion for admin matters, she is also very passionate about human rights and sustainability.

Johannes Drielsma, an independent freelance consultant trading under the name Drielsma Resources Europe, has provided part-time advisory, consensus-building, and project management services to the GBA since June 2021. He has over 25 years' experience working with mining, automotive, telecoms and related service industries in the fields of environmental science, resource economics and environmental engineering. He provides advisory, facilitation, project management and review services covering environmental policy & legislation, mining, raw materials, and sustainability to several multi-stakeholder organisations and consulting companies internationally.

Yana brings more than 11 years of experience within B2B environments in streamlining organizational workstreams. Previously, she held various positions for global complex organizations like Ahold Delhaize, Google Cloud, and Veeam Software. At Ahold Delhaize, she reported directly to the Chief Digital Officer and assisted in driving the deployment of all critical Digital initiatives and projects. Yana carries significant experience in sales, business development, marketing, strategy planning, and first-class support service to international Supervisory Boards and Executive Committees. Yana holds a BS in Economics and MA in Social Sciences from the St. Petersburg State University.
