Mark Hopper grew up in Kansas City, MO but settled in the Upstate of South Carolina after completing college and graduate school in the area. His primary areas of focus at Hopper Financial include working with individuals and families on issues of planning such as life insurance and disability income protection, education and retirement asset accumulation, and retirement income distribution. He also works with business owners to address issues such as buy/sell agreements, rewarding and retaining key employees, and a number of other business related planning matters. Mark is a graduate of Leadership Greer (class XXXIV), is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Leadership Development Council and Public Policy Committee of the Greater Greer Chamber, serves on the Board of Advisors of the Greer Station Association, serves as a charter member of the Greer Centennial Lions Club and as Zone 5 Chair of District 32-S for Lions Clubs International/South Carolina Lions, is a past member of the City of Greer Planning Commission, and represents the citizens of district 3 as a member of Greer City Council.
