Our process is simple, take care of the animals often and early. This process all starts with our calves. Before the calves are weaned off their mothers they are given several shots with a combination of preventative and immune building components. This allows the calves to stay healthy and strong through the seemingly vulnerable ages. Calves are left with their mothers for up to 135 days allowing them to receive necessary vitamins and minerals from their mothers milk. After 60 days with their mothers, feed consisting of soy hull pellets, corn gluten feed pellets, oat hull, corn, and vitamin mineral are made available for supplemental calories for the calves. This high caloric diet supplement provides the necessary energy to increase intermuscular fat cells for superior marbling and to keep the calves happy and healthy.
