Donna Langhoff worked for DSC Window Fashions for 16 years prior to that company being purchased by Paramount Fabrics in February of 2020. For all those years, she has been one of the best Customer Service providers in DSC's history.
Paramount was so pleased that she decided to stay on with us and she says that she has never been happier. Donna is really enjoying the people she works with now although she misses friend and mentor, Richard Robertson, the founder of DSC.
Donna discovered the love of her life nearly 11 years ago, online. They married 10 years ago and Donna welcomed 4 stepchildren into her and her 2 daughters' lives. She now has 8 grandchildren and another on the way. Spending time with them is one of her favorite amusements. The twin tigers represent the 3 and half year-old twin granddaughters that live with Donna and that have so enchanted her.
I am the company narrator, putting the words together to introduce you to this team that I am so very proud of every, single, day! I started in window coverings 31 years ago and while I've dabbled in other professions for short periods, this industry is where I've spent the better part of all those years. I've had many different responsibilities in my career: from checking in the new spring fabric line and assembling mini-blinds, to marketing our products and company, managing small and large teams in production and customer service, to where I am today… with the sometimes heavy but always adventurous and often rewarding task of keeping us all on the right track at Paramount Fabrics. The best part of my job is helping the next generation of window treatment professionals to find their way, hone their skills and grow into experts! While I am very grateful for that opportunity, there are days I have to shut my office door, crank up the tunes and sip chai tea too.
Tina Meyers worked for DSC Window Fashions for 26 years prior to that company being purchased by Paramount Fabrics in February of 2020. In those many years, she has held a great variety of positions; from fabricating honeycomb shades, verticals and roller shades to moving into the office, working in the marketing department and now in customer service where her wealth of knowledge supports customers and team alike.
Tina is a Colorado native who has two grown children, 1 adorable grandson, and, in her words, "a couple of cats". When she's not helping the team here, she enjoys watching old movies, cooking and spending time with her family, who coincidentally, loves her homemade chicken soup and spaghetti.
Her "pop" though really likes when it's pork chops and potatoes for dinner! Some of us, who have known and worked with Tina over the years have a few other favorite food memories thanks to Tina. She makes a delicious Jell-o and pretzel salad and the most adorable sandwich cookies she calls Starlight Bites. You simply must try them sometime. We're pretty sure she'd share the recipes.
