Peter Zimmerman, AIA grew up in Willistown Township, PA where he developed a love of, and interest in, old structures and open space. Peter earned his undergraduate degree at Colgate Universty, taking a year during his studies to attend The Institute for Architecture and Urban studies under the direction of Peter Eisenman. He received his Master's Degree in Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. During his time at Harvard he spent a semester teaching architecture at the Eidgenosische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. Peter has been the Owner and Principal of Peter Zimmerman Architects since 1982. Mr. Zimmerman provides design leadership in the firm while maintaining hands on involvement in all of their projects. Additionally, under his leadership, Peter Zimmerman Architects has received numerous awards and recognition, nationwide, over the past 38 years. Peter has served on many Boards with a primary focus on the preservation of open space and historic structures. Currently he is a member of : National Council of Architectural Registration Board, Philadelphia Chapter American Institute of Architects, Institute of Classical Architecture, Athenaeum of Philadelphia and Tredyffrin Township Zoning Appeals Board. Peter serves on the Board of the Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art, The President's Council: Natural Lands - Media, Pennsylvania and the Advisory Board of The Community Coalition- Phoenixville, PA. Past Board involvement includes: The French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust and Historic Yellow Springs. Both organizations are located in Chester County, PA. "I am very lucky," says Zimmerman. "I love what I do. To be able to work with incredible clients and make their visions a reality brings me great joy."

Richard Pinkerton

Rick Pinkerton has been with Peter Zimmerman Architects, Inc. since 1995 and is the firms most senior Principal. Rick's devotion to architecture is evident thru the process in which he earned his degree. While working full time and helping raise his children, Rick earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University in 2004. Rick's emphasis is a strong classical influence in design while combining that with a modern family's lifestyle. This dedication, experience and commitment has been a successful combination for the firm. He has led several of the firm's largest projects. These include a Palladio Award and two Horace Trumbauer awards, one in 2016 and another in 2018. Rick was named a Principal to the firm in 2016. He is a licensed Architect and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) In his spare time Richard enjoys boating with his family at the Jersey shore as well as traveling abroad.

Sean Narcum

Sean studied Art and Architecture at Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University) and at the American University in Rome, Italy, earning his Bachelor of Architecture in 2002. During his nearly 2-decade tenure at Peter Zimmerman Architects, Inc. Sean has served an integral role in delivering several successful projects featured in the Firm's portfolio. He has a dedication to studying the history and construction methodology of regional architecture and has applied this expertise to projects in and around Philadelphia, New England, Wyoming, Idaho, and the Pacific Northwest. His projects are featured in several national publications including Mountain Living, Big Sky Journal, and Period Homes. He believes that good, comprehensive design solutions evolve out of a strong relationship between client, architect and builder. Sean is a licensed Architect, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). When not in the office, Sean enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and their two sons.

Tim Lucci

Following his graduation with a BSBA from the College of Finance at Villanova University, Tim began his career in the construction industry and spent ten years working as a Licensed General Contractor. Leaning on his experience in construction, and his desire for residential design, Tim pursued his passion for Architecture by earning his Masters of Architecture from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Tim joined Peter Zimmerman Architects, Inc. in 2006 upon his return to the Philadelphia's Main Line. A strong background in design, technical expertise and project management has allowed Tim to work on a variety of project sizes and styles, including an addition & renovation of an Arts and Crafts style house which received an ICAA Philadelphia Trumbauer Award for a sympathetic addition. Tim was named a Principal of the firm in 2018. He is a licensed Architect, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration, a national member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and LEED AP certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). Tim serves on the Haverford Township Historical Commission. Tim is an avid motorcycle, tennis and golf enthusiast who also enjoys playing guitar with his son Nick.

Tyson Chamberlain

Tyson earned his degree from the College of Architecture at Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University). Tyson's analytical approach to design fundamentals and vigorous attention to classical details has made him an indispensable leader of the firms' studio. He has an underlying interest in materiality and traditional form which informs each project he leads. His recognized expertise in managing large, complex projects up and down the east coast imparts a wealth of knowledge that can be distributed across a variety of project types and styles. Several of his projects have been published in national press, including Florida Design and Traditional Home. Tyson has been with the firm since 2004 and was named a Principal in 2018. He is a licensed architect and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration (NCARB). When not practicing Architecture, Tyson enjoys creative home restoration projects, spending time outside, and attending as many Phillies games as possible with his son.

Warren Fisher

Warren Fisher joined Peter Zimmerman Architects, Inc. upon earning his Bachelors of Architecture from the College of Architecture at Philadelphia University (currently Thomas Jefferson University). Warren has developed a broad understanding and expertise within the fields of historic restoration, preservation and new design projects in a variety of classical styles. He has a thoroughness in design concepts and a thoughtfulness in attention to detail that he has used effectively on projects ranging from New York City to Alberta, Canada. Warren has a strong interest in land conservation and encouraging the protection and preservation of open spaces. He brings this focus to large scale property master planning projects. With his nearly 18-year tenure at Peter Zimmerman Architects, Warren has worked on a broad array of projects winning several awards. He is a registered Architect and a LEED Certified Professional. He was named a Principal of the firm in 2018. Warren also serves as a board member for The Community Coalition, a non-profit charitable umbrella organization serving his surrounding communities. In his spare time, Warren enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing and fishing. His free time is spent with his family and pets.
