Alexander Liu

Job Titles:

Alexander is developing a web and desktop application for QDTI's instrument operation and data correction, analysis, and visualization. He holds a BS in Microelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, concentrating on full-stack web development. Working with QDTI perfectly combines two of Alexander's interests: programming and biology. He is extremely fond of swimming in the pool and kayaking with friends.

Anatoly Konukhov

Job Titles:
  • Director, Business Development
Anatoly is focused on expanding the business development efforts of the company including instrument placements, services projects, and strategic partnerships in the United States, Europe, and beyond. He is a seasoned executive with successful M&A transactions. He also has experience serving as a CEO, a high-tech company founder, and a board member. Anatoly has received an M.B.A. with commendations from Kingston University and holds a B.S. in Computer Science. He is also a big foody and techno-geek.

Bruce Neumann

Job Titles:

Bruce has over 20 years of engineering experience building medical instrumentation and life science tools. His focus at the company is on all the hardware aspects of what we do: building new instruments, designing upgrades, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. He works in Solidworks, in the machine shop, and in the cleanroom, and is happiest with a screwdriver or Allen key in hand. Bruce comes to QDTI with extensive expertise in device design and manufacturing, honed through stints at MedSource Technologies, Becton Dickinson, and Raindance Technologies.

Colin Connolly

Colin is a physicist with expertise in manipulating quantum systems and in designing instrumentation to unlock their unique potential. He holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and Physics Ph.D. from Harvard University. Colin is an expert in magnetic imaging and the physics of quantum systems and led the first demonstration of immunomagnetic detection with diamonds. Experienced with the integration of NV diamond technology with microscopy and magnetic particle engineering and kinetics.

David Hanlon

David has over 20 years of industry experience in the diagnostics and life science research markets leading efforts in product development, program management, strategic marketing, and business/technology assessment. His experience also includes building and leading successful teams within a variety of organizations that includes Vizgen, NanoView Biosciences, Quanterix, and Hologic. He obtained a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Hongkun Park

Hongkun is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and a Professor of Physics at Harvard University. He is also an Institute Member of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT and a member of the Harvard Center for Brain Science and Harvard Quantum Optics Center. Leading expert in nanoscience, nano-bio interfaces, biomolecule detection and assay development. Hongkun is a Scientific founder of Nanosys and Cytotronics Scientific advisor at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology. He has 37 patents, and his h-index = 80.

John Pena

He holds an economics degree from Duke University and Immunology Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He is a former Investment associate of ARCH Venture partners (Hard tech industries); Founder and CEO of Ancora Pharmaceuticals which was acquired by Corden Pharma in 2012. John raised over $75MM as co-founder, executive and board member.

Joseph Gentile

Matthias Winter

Mikhail Lukin

Researches quantum manipulation of atomic and nanoscale solid-state systems, quantum many-body physics and applications to quantum metrology and quantum information processing. Steve Klose
