Dr Alexander Chye

Alexander is a recent medicine graduate from the University of Sydney Alexander provides qualitative and quantitative solutions for healthcare and social policy problems. Whilst studying Alexander has gained significant consulting experience supporting the development of government grants, interviewing clinical stakeholders for pharmaceutical market research and reviewing pricing regulations and applying economic analysis to the health and energy industries.

Dr Kate Hardie

Kate is a public health physician and general practitioner with extensive experience in culturally diverse, remote, and resource-constrained settings, both in the developed and developing world. ​ Kate works to ensure NSW health systems are equipped to respond to health emergencies and was particularly crucial in the NSW response to COVID-19. She consistently provided crucial advice concerning COVID-19 and was involved in the pre-vaccination stage, policy formation stage and clinic responses to outbreaks.

Dr. Lesh Satchithananda

Lesh joined the firm in May 2022. Lesh has nine years of experience working across Australia's healthcare sector. This includes working as a medical doctor in an acute care setting, driving the digital transformation of hospitals across Sydney Local Health Districts as a medical analyst and supporting clients as a management consultant across all levels of government. Outside of work, Lesh likes to wax lyrical as an amateur slam poet, annoy his neighbours to the maximal as an even more amateur drummer and stay cynical with an interest in the political. He also does F45 to (ha, ha, ha) stay alive (stayin alive).

Ellen Brinsden

Ellen graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in public health and human biology. Following graduation, Ellen worked as a project officer at the Western Australian Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), and gained experience working alongside general practitioners, allied health professionals, and government departments to improve health outcomes. Ellen also completed a Diploma of Leadership and Management whilst at WAPHA. Ellen is passionate about co-design and ensuring that health services are designed around the lived experiences of the people who use them. Ellen is currently studying a Master of Media Practice at the University of Sydney and is interested in leveraging this to support improved health communication. Outside of work, Ellen enjoys being outdoors (camping, hiking, bouldering - anything of that sort), photography, and looking after an exceptionally large collection of house plants.

Jake Cronin

With over 8 years of experience in primary healthcare, Jake thrives on fostering relationships and driving sustainable change to improve health outcomes. Prior to joining Rebbeck, Jake worked within a general practice and a Primary Health Network. He has supported over 100 primary care teams to elevate their data and digital capabilities. He also coached practice leaders to optimise their business functions and clinical workflows through robust project and change management practices. He is experienced in translating strategy into operation and leading teams to achieve organisational goals. Jake is passionate about modernising the health system for social equity and environmental sustainability. He has collaborated with public and private sector stakeholders on projects to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health checks, emergency response and preparedness, and integrated chronic disease management. Jake is a history and anthropology nerd who seeks to explore the world whenever he can and test his language abilities. When grounded at home on a rainy day, he loves using his strategic thinking for competitive fun in strategy games.

Jay Rebbeck is the Managing Director and Founder of Rebbeck.​ Jay has extensive experience in reshaping international health systems and public services to deliver sustainable improvements in population outcomes by applying commissioning techniques.​ Jay worked at the heart of the UK commissioning reforms from 2008 - 2015, advising NHS England on the 2010 clinical commissioning reforms. Jay went on to work with more than a dozen Commissioning Support Units and Clinical Commissioning Groups.​ Based in Sydney since 2015, Jay is passionate about improving outcomes for communities and sees huge opportunities in cross-pollinating ideas and learnings across international healthcare and public service ecosystems in Australia, UK and Canada. ​ Jay works closely with Australian Primary Health Networks (PHNs) to support the implementation of the Australian commissioning reforms. Jay has facilitated three national PHN Commissioning Showcases and is the lead facilitator for Rebbeck's Commissioning Academy. Jay has delivered commissioning masterclasses to more than 600 commissioning staff across Australia, UK and Canada.​ In Canada, Jay is leading Rebbeck's support to the Manitoba Province health system to introduce a commissioning and accountability model that aims to rebalance the Manitoba health system and advance the quadruple aims of healthcare across the Province.​​ Jay previously worked in the Ernst & Young UK health strategy commissioning practice and continues to collaborate with a strong network of UK based associates to deliver strategic advisory projects across Rebbeck's international portfolio of clients.​ Jay lives in Sydney with his wonderful wife Susie and three extremely enthusiastic kids, Heidi, Nina and Charlie. When he's not coaching his kids' hockey or soccer, Jay likes to get out in the ocean with friends and family to go surfing, stand up paddle boarding or swimming.

Her ability to marry detail focus with big-picture vision has enabled her to support teams through periods of change. She has led the growth of teams from local to national and has a strong focus on measuring impact to ensure her teams and organisations are delivering results. She takes a collaborative approach with teams to create practical, high-quality outcomes. Prior to joining Rebbeck, Meera was Chief Operating Officer for Now Teach, an award-winning education charity. She started her career as a management consultant with EY, and has since worked for the innovation foundation, Nesta, and education charity and schools provider Ark. With over 10 years of experience as a trustee and board member, she is well-versed in good governance and reporting. She also has experience as a coach and mentor and has supported young people, graduates, and experienced professionals through their next career steps. Meera has recently moved to Australia from the UK with her young family and is well-versed in the art of juggling work and family life.

Theresa completed two internships during her studies. At Headsafe, she was a research assistant supporting the development of the Nurochek system - a portable device that aims to measure the brain's electrical activity using EEG. As a biomedical engineer at St. George Hospital, Theresa worked on a range of medical devices and ensured their safety for patient use. Outside of work, Theresa enjoys reading fantasy and romance novels, running and Muay Thai training.
