Alex Rodriguez - CEO

Alex Rodriguez is Chief Executive Officer of Slam Corp and the founder and CEO of A-Rod Corp. While best known as one of the world's greatest athletes (a 14-time MLB All-Star and a 2009 World Series Champion with the New York Yankees), Mr. Rodriguez has transitioned to full-time investing. At A-Rod Corp, he leads a team of experts working to build high-growth businesses and enhance the value of more than 30 companies in the firm's portfolio. He founded A-Rod Corp in 2003, purchasing a duplex apartment building on the theory that investing his MLB earnings wisely would protect him from the kinds of financial struggles that afflict too many professional athletes. Subsequently purchasing apartment units across the southeastern U.S., Mr. Rodriguez built a fully integrated real estate and development company. Following his success in real estate, he has invested in a variety of sectors where he has expertise, including sports, wellness, media and entertainment, and technology. Mr. Rodriguez has been a judge and investor on ABC's Shark Tank, mentored financially distressed ex-athletes on CNBC's Back in the Game, and currently co-hosts the podcast The Corp with Barstool Sports' Dan Katz, interviewing CEOs, entrepreneurs, and sports legends. Committed to creating opportunities for young people to succeed, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and the Boards of Trustees for the University of Miami and The Paley Center for Media. He is also an Emmy Award-winning MLB analyst for Fox Sports and ESPN.

Alexandre Zyngier

Alexandre Zyngier is the Founder and Managing Partner of Batuta Capital Advisors. Mr. Zyngier has over 30 years of investment, strategy, governance and operating experience. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of EVO Transportation (EVOA), reorganized COFINA in Puerto Rico, a Director of Atari SA (ALATA FP), Schmitt Industries (SMIT), and certain other private entities. Through his firm Batuta Capital Advisors, Mr. Zyngier has provided financial advisory services to companies in and out of bankruptcy. He is an expert witness in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Zyngier holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from UNICAMP in Brazil.

Chetan Bansal

Chetan Bansal is Chief Development Officer and a member of the board of directors of Slam Corp. He is also a Partner and Co-Head of Investment Research at Antara. Prior to joining Antara in 2020, Mr. Bansal was Managing Director and Head of Illiquid Credit Solutions Group at BTIG, and before that, he managed his family office. His early career includes co-managing a proprietary investment portfolio at Jefferies, serving as Director of Research at Citigroup for four years, and working on venture investments and strategic acquisitions at Cisco Systems' Business Development Group for four years. He served on the boards of Cisco Systems' Strategic India Counsel from 2003 to 2004 and held board observer seats at Plaxo Inc. and CXO Systems before those companies were acquired by Comcast and Cisco, respectively. Mr. Bansal earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Northwestern University.

Himanshu Gulati is the Chairman of Slam Corp and Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Antara Capital. Before founding Antara Capital in March 2018, Mr. Gulati was the Head of U.S. Distressed Credit and Special Situations at Man GLG and a member of the GLG Risk Committee. He launched the GLG Select Opportunities Strategy in 2015. Before joining Man Group in 2015, Mr. Gulati spent nine years at Perry Capital as a Managing Partner overseeing the firm's distressed securities and event/catalyst equities business. Prior to Perry Capital, he was a distressed credit analyst at hedge fund Rockview Capital and an investment banker at Merrill Lynch specializing in leveraged finance. Mr. Gulati began his career in 2001 in the accounting division of Goldman Sachs. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Binghamton University.

Kelly Laferriere is President of Slam Corp and the Chief Business Officer of A-Rod Corp, where she works with Mr. Rodriguez to craft the firm's investment and multimedia content strategy. A business and brand builder with experience in both large companies and startups, Ms. Laferriere has played pivotal roles in the rapid growth of leading global entertainment brands such as ESPN and Six Flags. She was Six Flags' Regional Vice President of Park Strategy and Management from 2006 to 2010, and before that, Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions at ESPN. Before joining A-Rod Corp in 2020, Ms. Laferriere served as Senior Vice President of Content Strategy and Business Development at SellersEaston Media for four years, and Chief Operating Officer of In Order to Succeed for two years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.

Lisa Hatton Harrington

Lisa Hatton Harrington is an independent board director for Iron Horse Acquisitions and MetaHealth, and was most recently Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Viant Technology (DSP), a publicly traded advertising software company. Previously Ms. Harrington was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for ChromaDex, a publicly traded bioscience company. Prior to that, Ms. Harrington was Special Counsel at the global law firm Cooley LLP acting as outside general counsel. She has held General Counsel positions at ASICS, Surf Airlines, NBCUniversal/Comcast's digital division (including Fandango), and Unum Group's Western division. Marc Lore is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Walmart U.S. eCommerce. In that role, he more than doubled Walmart's market share of U.S. online sales and built Walmart.com into the second most popular online shopping destination. A veteran serial entrepreneur, Mr. Lore founded Jet.com in 2014 and was the CEO until the company was acquired by Walmart for approximately $3.3 billion in 2016. In 2015, he co-founded Quidsi, the parent company of several e-commerce websites, and served as CEO until it was sold to Amazon for approximately $550 million in 2011. Before becoming a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Lore held various investment banking positions, including executive vice president of Sanwa International Bank in London, where he led the bank's Risk Management Division. Before that, he served as Vice President of Emerging Markets Risk Management at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Lore's industry accolades include being named E&Y's 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year regional winner and one of Fortune Magazine's "Smartest People in Technology" in 2010. Reggie Hudlin

Reggie Hudlin is President of Hudlin Entertainment, which he founded in 1997. While best known as a director, producer, and screenwriter in Django Unchained, Marshall, and Safety-and as the writer behind the Black Panther comic book series-Mr. Hudlin has become a prominent businessman in the entertainment industry. In 2005, he became the first President of Entertainment for Black Entertainment Television and served in that role until his departure from BET in 2008. He co-owns Milestone Media, a comic creator and publisher founded in 1993 by a coalition of African-American artists and writers committed to creating opportunities for underprivileged youth and communities. Mr. Hudlin sits on the board of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and he has been honored by the NAACP, The American Civil Liberties Union, The United Negro College Fund, The African American Film Critics Association, and other venerable organizations. Ryan Bright possesses nearly 20 years of experience as a financial and investment executive. He has served as a Special Advisor for Direct Selling Acquisition Corp. since February 2021 and co-founded Direct Selling Capital Advisors in May 2019. Prior to Direct Selling Capital Advisors, Mr. Bright served as the President and Managing Partner of Lucidus Capital, LLC, a boutique transaction advisory firm. Earlier in his career, as a Managing Director, Mr. Bright was responsible for the Dallas office of an international investor relations firm focused on representing companies listed on both the Nasdaq and New York stock exchanges. Client companies ranged from $100 million to multi-billion dollar market capitalizations. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Bright operated Fiducia Capital Management, LP, a registered investment advisory firm that he co-founded. Fiducia focused on managing portfolios of publicly traded equities for a number of private investment partnerships. Mr. Bright began his career in finance sourcing private equity transactions for a large Dallas, Texas-based family office and also served as a key investment advisor to one of the largest private family foundations in the State of Texas.
