Alan Stringer - COO

Alan brings to his role as Chief Operating Officer over 25 years of experience in development, construction and operation of global energy infrastructure assets. During the past 10 years, Alan has developed and constructed over 10GW of power generation facilities, including over 8GW of solar generation. Alan was VP of Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) at First Solar where he was responsible for construction of $7 billion in solar projects. Alan transformed EPC operations through implementation of risk-based design, sourcing and construction processes, and utilized new technology to reduce costs while improving quality and productivity and maintaining safety. Alan most recently served as Chief Technical officer at Ceiba Energy Management. Prior to his role at First Solar, he was VP Operations and EHS at AEI in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Alan holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK, a MSc from Salford University, UK, and a BSc (Hons) from Lancaster University, UK.

Brian leads a team of investment professionals at Mercuria, with a focus on deploying both debt and equity capital into the energy and related infrastructure asset class. Prior to joining Mercuria, he worked as the Global Head of Energy Capital for Noble Group where he led investment and structured transaction teams. Proceeding Noble, Brian has held senior leadership roles focused on investment, structured finance, and commodities for LS Power Group, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America. Brian started his career at Enron and holds a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Cassandra Rinaldo - CEO

Cassandra brings to her role as Chief Executive Officer of Solar Proponent LLC over 25 years of experience in energy infrastructure development, mergers & acquisitions, energy trading, risk management and structured finance. Most recently she was CFO of a utility-scale solar developer managing a 1.8 GW portfolio in a joint venture with a global bank. Cassandra has extensive start-up experience including nine years establishing and managing North American gas & power trading commercial support operations for Repsol, S.A. Prior to that, she was Chief Risk Officer for a multi-state gas & electric utility where she coordinated investment analysis, chaired the Risk Committee and reported to the Board of Directors. Previously, she was VP of Market Risk and also managed due diligence for billions of dollars of international energy infrastructure investments at several multinational energy companies. Earlier in her career Cassandra was an audit manager in the energy practice at Ernst & Young and earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas A&M University in College Station.

Dhruv Gupta

Dhruv is Solar Proponent's Transmission & Interconnection Engineer. Prior to his current position, Dhruv worked as a Power Systems Engineer at Electric Power Engineers (EPE) where he performed preliminary plant designing, power flow modeling, steady-state and dynamic analyses, and interconnection applications for utility-scale renewable projects in ERCOT and other major ISOs within North America. Dhruv earned his MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy Systems from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 and a BS in Power Engineering from Indraprastha University in India.

She is effective at risk assessment with a pragmatic approach to investment decisions. She has handled cross-border dispute resolutions and managed multi-million dollar legal teams/budgets. Ms. Driscoll has 30+ years in the energy industry, from greenfield development to asset management. Her knowledge base spans gas, wind, solar, battery storage, and advisory work in the oil services space, with hands-on experience in each.

Rushi Raiyani

Rushi is Solar Proponent's Project Development Engineer. He brings with him two years of EPC expertise with utility-scale solar PV plants. He began his career as a Field Engineer at CS Energy in New York, one of the top US solar EPCs, where he oversaw project construction and subcontractor management for two utility-scale solar PV plants with a combined capacity of 34 MW DC. He later switched to the position of PV Design Engineer in the pre-sales division of CS Energy, where he created preliminary site layouts for over 20 projects ranging in size from 5 MW to 250 MW DC. Rushi received an MS in Energy Systems Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
