Amanda McCulloch - CEO, Managing Director

Amanda leads our customer experience and strives to ensure everyone finds value in their interactions with TMM Executive. Amanda's career with TMM Recruitment started as a graduate in 1999. Amanda is the leading authority on financial resourcing in the north east of Scotland. Quickly earning responsibility for commercial management, Amanda was intrinsic to the company's success over the next decade as it transitioned from a niche accountancy agency to an award winning, multi-million pound business providing recruitment services across 10 specialist disciplines alongside niche executive search for financial C-suite and board room roles. Amanda was promoted to Managing Director in 2009 and in 2019 was appointed Chief Executive when the business rebranded to reflect her strategic contribution and shareholder status. The latest chapter of her career is growing the executive search service under a discrete entity, TMM Executive. Amanda is also a board director of Aberdeen Inspired.

Jo Cammell

Jock Gardiner - Chairman

Jock was appointed Chairman at the launch of TMM Executive, having acted as a consulting adviser since early 2020. Jock is an integrative leader. Quick paced, competitive and receptive to change, he seeks out challenging assignments and questions the status quo, preferring to use persuasion to win his way. His outgoing interest in people enables him to generate enthusiasm and motivate others.

Karen Molloy

Passionate about the mutual benefit and value created by business and charity partnerships Karen is our champion for third sector board appointments. Throughout her career Karen has been an advocate of businesses contributing to the community in which they operate, supporting fundraising, volunteering and philanthropic endeavours. Karen is a board member for Charlie House, a founding trustee of Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums Development Trust Karen's fundraising efforts have taken her around the world completing challenges in India, Africa, Brazil, Cambodia, USA and Italy. Alongside the chair of Charlie House Karen raised over £150,000 for the charity's Big Build Appeal, organising and completing a group trip to Machu Piccu. Karen is a board member for Charlie House, a founding trustee of Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums Development Trust and a retired board member of The Foyer Enterprise. She began her recruitment career 30 years ago in Hong Kong and set up her own agency in Aberdeen with Judith Thorpe in 1997. Their efforts to act with social responsibility have been recognised in numerous business awards.

Phil Rose - CEO, Founder

His inspirational, challenging, pragmatic and personal approach has brought success to many senior executives. His team development programmes have delivered dramatic results; Phil knows the value of action and brings a sense of adventure and challenge to his programmes that stems from a belief that everyone has choice. Phil worked for Microsoft for ten years initially in a training role and latterly in enterprise sales. Through experiencing different leadership styles and managing teams he recognised that success came from those teams who possessed clarity and alignment of a compelling goal coupled with the dedication and rigour to execute a plan. Phil founded Clarity Leadership in 2009 and the motivation which inspired him to set up his own business is evident in other areas of his life, pursuing a passion for adventure and endurance sports.

Before this, 20 years ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Steve was brought up as a farmer. He worked on the family farm before starting a couple of agricultural businesses in his late 20's. If Steve had a superpower, it would be telling the truth from a place of kindness.

Zia is an experienced coach for executive leaders and has in-depth experience of executive leadership facilitation. Zia has 20 years' experience across multiple sectors including: technology, distribution, travel, energy, education, retail and health sectors. Zia has led learning and development through design and delivery of programmes, facilitation, consulting, talent management, training, project management, assessment, coaching and mentoring. Zia's experience in the energy sector involved substantial global travel and strategic leadership as Talent Director for a FTSE250 global consultancy business. Zia has been involved in multiple mergers, acquisitions and disposals which brings broad organisational effectiveness and change capabilities. Zia is an experienced coach for executive leaders and has in-depth experience of executive leadership facilitation. Zia's coaching style is client led, non-judgemental and solutions focused. Through considered questions and unfaltering listening, Zia notices words and body language that may uncover clients' feelings about situations or relationship, that can inform actions for the client.
