Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson serves as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vector97. In this role for more than a decade, Jack has been instrumental in bringing the company from the start-up phase to the most trusted name in waste and recycling consulting in North America. His knowledge of the market and his genuine desire to partner with companies in a mutually beneficial way has helped make Vector97 one of the fastest-growing, well-liked and respected companies in the space. Prior to joining Vector, Jack held similar positions in multiple private and publicly traded companies throughout his career. Specializing in start-ups predominantly within technology and telecommunications, Jack is a pioneer and true business creator that is widely recognized for his vision and his ability to turn ideas into profitable business ventures. Jack graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. When not working he enjoys fly-fishing, competitive shotgun shooting, investing, and spending time with his wife and three children. The Johnsons reside in Southlake, TX where they are active in their community, church, and philanthropy.

Marc Savas - President

Marc Savas serves as the President of Vector97, an SIB company. Marc has actively grown the Vector business by 35% annually in the past nine years by providing world-class waste hauling and recycling data aggregation, workflow analysis, invoice processing and auditing, and bill payment services to 13,000+ properties. Marc led the development of Workflow Management System 2.0, a proprietary, unique system that the company leverages to reduce waste hauling and recycling costs by more than 15%. Prior to Vector97, Marc served as the CEO of Unfair Advantage, Inc., which was later sold to Southwestern Great American, a 160-year-old direct sales firm based in Nashville, TN. During his tenure, Marc personally managed or oversaw projects with companies such as Intel Capital, Sequoia Ventures, Sprint, and Pillsbury Winthrop, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in business growth and a wholesale increase in client satisfaction. Marc has a bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University in Sales and Finance and an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

Shelly Binnette - CEO, Founder

Shelly Binnette is the founder and CEO of Vector97, a provider of waste management consulting services that implements efficient and effective disposal and waste hauling programs. She has 30+ years of experience in the waste industry and is recognized as a subject matter expert with deep industry knowledge and an extreme passion for maintaining rate integrity for her clients. Shelly got her start in the industry as a sales representative with Republic Services (formerly Browning Ferris Industries) and never looked back. She built deep relationships with haulers and quickly became the country's top performing sales representative. Shelly also founded two other related companies which she sold in 2006-Waste Remedies, a Waste and recycling consulting company and Quality Equipment, a trash compactor company. Shelly later decided to break away and started her own business, Refuse Specialists, which was later renamed to Vector97. The company grew from a handful of employees to 130+ today. While the company has expanded its services to include reporting, analytics, invoice processing, and other customer support services, Shelly remains focused on securing the most competitive rates possible for waste removal and recycling on behalf of our clients. The Vector97 team have built a comprehensive database of pricing benchmarks to ensure that clients receive the appropriate level of service for the best possible price. She is most proud of their ability to secure the most competitive market rates for clients while building trust with haulers who see her as tough but fair. Shelly has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Iowa.

Steve Sims

Steve Sims is responsible for growth and management of the sales channel at Vector97, an SIB company. He has 30+ years of progressive leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth B2B organizations. Since joining the company in 2011, Steve has focused on developing new revenue sources, driving strategic direction, and embedding sales and operational process excellence. At Vector, Steve leads the sales team who assists a wide range of industries including REITs, multi-site property owners and operators to identify and onboard new clients who wish to optimize their spend on waste and recycling. Prior to his role at Vector, Steve worked in the wireless and telecom industry for 28 years with Network USA, Network Telephone, & Connexion Technologies in various sales management positions. In a prior role, Steve was the mergers and acquisition manager responsible for identifying prospective sellers, negotiating financial terms and earn-outs, coordinating due diligence, and integrating acquired companies. Steve earned a B.B.A in Management from Mississippi State University. He is a past President of the NW Florida Chapter of the MSU Alumni Association and is active in local church activities.
