Andrew is an experienced marketing strategist using the most up-to-date techniques for e-commerce, social media and advertising campaigns. In addition, his mindset coming from an engineering background serves double duty as he posesses high-level technology, software and coding skills. This combination of marketing and technology is the ideal skill set for today's ecommerce domination in online sales. Andrew has already improved the VTI website and will next focus on the blog. When we launch our new eLearning platform you'll see the results of his thoughtful user experience planning and a much-improved functionality of our growing line of e-learning courses.

Cathy Hasty runs the day-to-day operations of our company. She also directs the VTI marketing program, website, and newsletter. After working with the company for over 20 years, she has been key in the tremendous growth and evolution of Van Tharp Institute. "My most important focus is client satisfaction. We want to know that you've had a good experience with us, and if not, how we can improve." Cathy has a B.A. in Communication from NC State University and has worked in marketing and/or promotions since 1987.

Chantal has been Van's assistant since the spring of 2018. Prior to that, she worked in Public Relations and Marketing for universities, and more recently for the beer and wine industry in Raleigh. She's a New York native but has been living in the south for two years now and can't imagine living anywhere else. She prides herself on knowing the best places to eat and see in the Raleigh area.
Christine is responsible for producing much of VTI's marketing material including promotional videos and the weekly newsletter. She has an extensive background in video production and is also responsible for producing and managing all of our video-based eLearning products. You can find her manning the controls of our workshop room cameras, or hard at work editing a new eLearning course. In her spare time, Christine is an independent film director. She has written, directed, and produced both feature and short films and has won awards for her directing and writing. Find a local horror film festival and you may see Christine there!
Van Tharp and his wife Kala Tharp are the owners of VTI. Van is the institute's President and fuels our passion for transformation. Kala is an accomplished artist, specializing in paintings, and has an art gallery at the VTI facility. They are both world travelers and dog lovers.
Van has been a trading industry thought-leader for well over 30 years. His original ideas and unique approach for training, and peak performance results for traders has positioned him as a leading trading authority throughout the world. He is the only NLP practitioner to conduct large scale studies in order to model successful tasks of trading and the wealth-building process. His research and conceptualization of Position Sizing (a risk/profit management strategy) is widely held as one of the most significant contributions to the knowledge base of trading. Before his employment with VTI in 2009, R.J. was a long-time Van Tharp Institute client and student of the Super Trader program and became a Super Trader graduate in 2012. In his role, he develops new training products and helps guide the curriculum for our programs. R.J. co-teaches several workshops with Van and is the lead instructor on many others. He also edits and writes for our newsletter, ensuring top quality information for traders. R.J. works closely with, and helps guide, students in the Super Trader Program. He enjoys our amazing cliet base and is priveledged to serve them.
Revathi Ramaswami joined the Van Tharp family in 2006. Receiving her Chartered Accountant Degree from India, Revathi manages all of the accounting functions at the Van Tharp Institute, including payables and receivables. She enjoys being a part of the VTI team, continually thriving to better the services provided by the company. She is eager to continue watching the company grow and enjoys meeting all of our wonderful clients. Sarah produces our weekly newsletter and blasts. She updates the VTI website and shopping cart, and is in the process of learning a multitude of additional marketing tools and programs. You'll also see Sarah staffing workshops and manning the chat sessions for live-streamed events. Additionally, should you call for assistance, she just may be the person on the other end of the phone.
