Our aim is to stock the most exciting frame ranges available on the High Street sourced from Paris, Denmark and Austria. We use Carl Zeiss precision lenses which offer outstanding optical clarity. Established in Hexham in 1946 when George Steven was demobbed after the war. We have been caring for the eyes of the people of Hexham and the Tyne Valley for over 75 years. We are currently run by George's Grandsons Chris and Mark Steven following the retirement of their father, Geoff, in 2014. They are the 4th generation of Optometrists in the Steven family, with their Great-Grandfather having founded what is now Advanced Vision in Tynemouth (although this passed from the Steven family ownership prior to the 2nd World War). We now have 3 practices at Hexham, Haltwhistle and Ponteland.
