Your consultant, Steven C. Langer, PhD, has over twenty years of experience in the realm of hypnotic arts and has completed formal training in many disciplines of the hypnotic arts and sciences, including hypnotic anesthesiology and hypnosis for dentistry and childbirth. Dr. Langer holds a master's degree in theology, a doctoral degree in Christian ministry, and a PhD in Biblical Studies (conferred in 2010). A former commissioned officer and naval aviator in the US Marine Corps, he served with the Joint Special Operations Command as part of the Force Reconnaissance Battalion, First Marine Division, and has worked in the emergency medical services field as a firefighter/paramedic. Dr. Langer is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer and lives in Rockwall, Texas, with his wife, Kathy. Dr. Langer is a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), a non-profit international organization composed of professional consulting hypnotists dedicated to advancing their field. He practices in accordance with the NGH Code of Ethics and Standards, and supports their vision of "a time when a visit to the consulting hypnotist is as common as a visit to any health care provider."
