Bennuam is an initiative of René de Wolf. Your personal guide with deep knowledge and experience in a broad range of investments and operations. Transparent, independent and without any conflict of interests. René is active in asset management since 1994 and built a large network. He started his investment career at Robeco as an equity portfolio manager and was responsible for various award-winning mutual funds. Besides investments experience, René gathered a wealth of operational knowledge from setting up innovative investment products to building an asset manager from scratch. René managed about 4 billion in assets of institutional and retail clients and was a founding member of the highly successful quantitative investment products of Robeco and was a pioneer with a European Hedge Fund. In 2002 René became Head of Equity Trading at Robeco and fully automated the trading desk as the first asset manager in Europe with innovative algorithms to settle more the 90.000 transactions annually. After working at Robeco for 12 years, René set up, built and managed the alternative investments for Anthos Asset Management from the Brenninkmeijer Family Office. He built out his strong investment track record for three client groups: Charity, Pension funds and Private Clients. For these clients he was responsible for asset allocation, manager- and fund selection of a broad range of asset classes and investment strategies. From real estate and private investments to bonds, equity and money markets funds. In 2019 René built an asset manager from scratch for a Dutch family of entrepreneurs. He set up a diversified investment portfolio and established four investment funds.
