Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma said a new nano urea unit with an annual capacity of 33,000 kiloliters per year along with a bottling plant with a daily capacity of 2,00,000 bottles (500 ml) to be set up by IFFCO at Paradeep was cleared. The unit will be set up with an investment of Rs 225 crore with employment opportunities for over 200 people.
Holds Bachelor's Degree in Mining from college of Engineering, Guindy. Over 45 years of experience in Indian Coal Sector in various capacities and rose to level of CMD of PSU's, CCL and CMPD. During 10 th plan period, headed the coal sub-group for the Planning Commission, Government of India, to decide on matters related to coal exploitation, coal demand and supply, production and so on and so forth. He prepared the concept paper for CBM/CMM/AMM for coal India, with a view to help the coal sector exploit and recover vast CBM resources. He has received many national awards for productivity, safety and managerial excellence.
