We have a bold vision to make a positive difference in our community, and Bloom was born with the aim to change the world around us. We want to give those people referred to us not only a new skill and qualification, but to build their self-confidence, dignity and give them the opportunity to start a new chapter, to write a new story... In partnership with Modern Standard Coffee, we have created a Barista Academy where we train people to become skilled baristas, giving them a qualification at the end of the course and then a job on London Living Wage as minimum... Bloom and The Salvation Army are the perfect partnership for the purpose we have set out. The Salvation Army offers practical help, unconditional assistance and support for the people they refer to us, prior, during training and once in employment.
