Anurag is considered the best in class profit and loss (P&L), churning double-digit sales growth at accretive margin rates across India, Asia, Europe and the USA/Canada in the last decade. He has successfully steered USD 100M - $1.3B P&Ls' at General Electric company and Severn Trent Water, leading up to his current role as business development Vice President for Emerald in Atlanta, USA. In addition, he has been finessing his merger and acquisitions skills for Private Equity firms, supporting them win auctions and create value.
Anurag's alma matter General Electric Company in the USA trained him in commercial and business operations excellence, product management, and most importantly, in people management skills critical to our growth and scaling aspirations across India. His alcohol relevant expertise lies in water technologies and nitro brewing developed and implemented at Severn Trent Water and IDEX Corporation. Anurag holds a PhD in aerospace materials from Canada and B.Tech from IIT Bombay in India.

Dr. Patil serves as the Head of Department for Alchohol Technology at Vasantdada Sugar Institute. He brings over 35 years of experience in academia and industries related to distillation, brewing, and sustainable energy. He has been instrumental in designing and commissioning multiple distilleries around the world.
Dr Patil has a PhD in Biotechnology from NCL, MSc in Biochemical Engineering from IISc. Bangalore and MSc in Biochemistry.
Rushikesh Daga is the head of our finance team. He is a Chartered Accountant and has completed Masters in Commerce. Prior to joining CBPL, Rushikesh has held various finance consulting roles in startups and multinational companies.
In his current role, Rushikesh is responsible for delivering solutions for complex accounting transactions, creating growth plans, making financial projections and directing the staff for attaining financial goals. He is also focused on project management and building an effective team for the company's overall development.
Sudhakaran brings over 25 years of varied sectoral experience from Education, Waste Management, and Paints to CBPL. A proponent of sustainability, Sudhakaran has been involved in building bioenergy-centric product lines poised for accelerated growth in India and international markets. He served as the Managing Director of Excellex Solutions, a company specializing in developing usable, environmental-friendly products from industrial waste.
He also co-founded Sustainable Eco-Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SESPL), a clean-energy-based company that produces biomass-based, affordable alternate fuel for rural communities in India. In his current role, Sudharkaran is responsible for driving operational efficiency, fostering strategic partnerships, and overseeing the entire project value chain.
