Sandra Cox

Dr. Cox graduated from Psychiatry Residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in 1996. She has extensive experiencing treating a wide range of disorders, including Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Trauma-induced Disorders and Gender Dysphoria. Dr. Cox believes that approaching each patient as a unique individual is essential to understanding their experience and formulating an individualized treatment plan. She brings a compassionate, open minded curiosity to her patient relationships, encouraging them to feel that they are the most vital part of the treatment team. Patients are people, not just brain chemistry and their overall health has an effect on their emotional well-being. As your Psychiatric provider, Dr. Cox will assist you in understanding the changes you may be able to make in your lifestyle which could improve your emotional state and these may include exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and sleep hygiene. When patients require treatment modalities outside the scope of Psychiatry, Dr. Cox is able to refer them to appropriate resources. Experience Dr. Cox has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings; addiction treatment settings and in both the public and private sectors. This wide variety has helped her to understand the challenges unique to every socioeconomic strata and to all age ranges. Dr. Cox specifically chose Psychiatry due to the opportunity it brings to understand and treat the whole human being. She finds it intensely rewarding to be able to assist with and witness her patients' journeys to healthier, happier lives. In her opinion, the mind and body are vastly interconnected and must be approached as a whole. Dr. Cox approaches healing in a holistic way, by addressing the individual's biology, psychology, relationships, lifestyle, nutrition and level of activity, to help each person achieve total health. We become as we think and believe, leaving the possibilities for achieving total wellness, endless. It is not her goal to keep patients in her practice, indefinitely. It is her goal to assist them to a place where they no longer need her assistance, accept as they choose.

Tolulope Adedayo

Tolulope is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience. She has worked in the primary care setting, internal medicine, geriatric, and psychiatry within community-based practices, telehealth, and clinics. She transitioned from primary care to psychiatry in order to provide compassionate, informed and effective care for a growing population of underserved clients with psychiatric disorders. Dr. Tolu is a provider with integrity and compassion whose vision is to listen to the clients, guide them and ensure they reach their optimal quality of life.
