Terry Schneider, President/CEO of Composite Technology Concepts, LLC has broad engineering experience in structural composite materials and manufacturing technologies supporting a range of aerospace platforms which include commercial aircraft, military aircraft and spacecraft. He started his career in NASA's Space Shuttle Program as a materials engineer with Rockwell International's Space Division (prime contractor for the Space Shuttle Orbiters) and supported shuttle processing and turn-around operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. He was elected a member of The Boeing Company's Technical Fellowship as an Associate Technical Fellow and was active in the development and qualification of various carbon fiber-reinforced polymer composites utilized in structures for Boeing's 737, 747, 777 and 787 Airplane Programs. He has been awarded over 18 patents (US and international), received Boeing's Special Invention Award and was featured in Boeing's Frontiers Magazine for his group's significant work in developing next-gen, high performance composite polymers. He has co-authored several technical papers and presentations which are available at Researchgate.net. Retiring from The Boeing Company in 2015, he was Chief Technical Officer of a Seattle-based engineering firm for 5 years and as of 2021 has started consulting.
