Amanda Johnson-Cruz is originally from the Midwest, where she grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Most notably, home of the Green Bay Packers. Amanda attended the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science and started her journey to law school in California. During undergraduate studies, Amanda was actively involved in extracurricular activities and committees, such as Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society) and volunteer work for the Wisconsin Women's Network, located in Madison, Wisconsin.

Geoffrey A. Cruz was born and raised in Southern California. He attended the University of Southern California where he received a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Afterwards, he attended Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa where he achieved his Juris Doctor.
