We provide free service which includes information, carers assessment, carer support, counselling, befriending and carer training... Dochas Carers' Centre is an independent charity. We help and support unpaid carers by providing information and guidance which can make life better. There are many carers who live many miles from services and access can prove difficult or impossible. We have dedicated Outreach Workers who provide support to carers throughout Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Isles... The Dochas Centre is in Lochgilphead, Argyll and was founded in 1998 by John Paterson after John was diagnosed with both Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) and Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
