Er. Hwang is a member of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore and Singapore Structural Steel Society. He was also a member of the technical committee at SPRING Singapore for the conversion of CP 40 to SS 532 and SS 607 - Specification for Design of Active Fall -Protection Systems. He is presently involved as a member of the working group on Fire Safety for Open Plant Structure in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries into a Singapore Standard
