Chef Julian Jones promises to keep that same vibe that patrons have grown to love. He is bringing his extensive background as Chef as well as a working musician to Local 31 Pub. "We'll keep the local feel but the decor will represent Local 31 as a music venue with musical instruments and classic album covers adorning the walls. Plus, an all new "made-from-scratch" menu that focuses on quality and value. We call our new cuisine ‘Southern' Oregon adding some Creole dishes like Gumbo, Three-bean Chili, and Cajun Chicken pasta, for example, as well as our signature SmAshland burger." says Julian. Plans are to make the kitchen more efficient and employ a hand-picked team of cooks, bartenders and front-of-house experts. And yes, Local 31 will still have plenty of live music, karaoke, special events, outdoor seating at the "Horsey Bar" as the weather warms and a fun-filled atmosphere locals will enjoy for dinner, drinks, and just hanging with friends. Julian will add his stage persona name and personal flare to the pub calling it "Dangerous Lee's" Local 31 Pub.
