Luana Mobley Corral

Luana began working in the financial services industry in 1969, primarily in the areas of insurance and qualified retirement plans. In 1990 she joined the MassMutual, specializing in insurance and financial services for individual, family, and business needs. She is currently associated with Crossroads Consulting of South Florida, Inc. to prepare people for life after divorce, Associated Financial Consultants, Inc. for non-securities related insurance and annuity products, and Associated Investor Services, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm, for financial planning. She is securities licensed through Securities America, Inc. a registered Broker/Dealer, Member FINRA, SIPC. Advisory Services are offered through Securities America Advisory Services, Inc., a SEC Registered Investment Advisory Firm. Crossroads Consulting, Associated Financial Consultants & Investor Services, and Securities America are separate entities. Luana is licensed to use the following professional marks: Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®), Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC™), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA™). She must adhere to a Professional Code of Ethics and meet annual continuing education requirements to entitle her to continued use of these professional marks. Additionally, Luana is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Registered Player Financial Advisor and an Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisor. Luana's client mix is eclectic: business owners, athletes, retirees, families, and women on their own. She has figured out, though, that no matter who the client is - there is a natural gravitation to support the unique needs of women. Generally, husbands instinctively want to make sure their wives and children are financially ok when they are no longer around to support them. Luana's goal continues to be that a husband and wife be equally equipped to deal with the financial issues that survive divorce, death, or incapacity of either spouse. Historically, though, she thinks women have a steeper climb to achieve the same comfort level as men, but she is on a mission to see that trend reversed. Luana enjoys helping her clients achieve clarity about their values and their goals and helping them develop a plan for themselves and their families so that they can live life confidently, in alignment with their values, and without regret. When Luana experienced divorce in 1997 to 2000, her journey gave rise to the founding of Crossroads Consulting of South Florida, Inc. She wanted to help people prepare for life after divorce. She is privileged to work in team with a select group of mental health professionals and attorneys who help people divorce without litigation, using Collaborative Practice and Mediation. Luana gladly supports the Women's Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org) by offering the Second Saturday® divorce workshop, "What Everyone Needs to Know about Divorce". Check out SecondSaturdayBroward.com. Luana has been quoted in the Sun-Sentinel, the Miami Herald, and the South Florida Sun Times, has been interviewed by local affiliate NBC6 and appeared on WLRN's radio program, Topical Currents.
