AIA Racing

Job Titles:
  • Racing School and Events Director
Seasoned motorcycle professional pilot. Miguel participated in several internacional motorcycling championships between 2002 and 2013. He ran in the Parkalgar Racing Team, twice runner-up squad at the World Supersport Championship. Currently, he is the Director of the Racing School, in charge for the roll-out of new products and services, organization of activities, experiences, track days and sports driving courses. Miguel is also responsible for the coordination of Corporate events.

Catarina Azevedo

Job Titles:
  • Track Management Director
At the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve since 2009, she plays a major role in the front-office with Clients as the person in-charge of managing the track occupation. Catarina is responsible for the logistics and coordination of all major events, since track-rentals, to catering and accommodation.

Daniel Matos

Job Titles:
  • Sporting Director
Daniel began its collaboration with the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve during 2007 as the coordinator of the Parkalgar Racing Team. At August 2008, he became the head of all the sports events organization for national and international races at AIA.

Joana Melo

Job Titles:
  • Marketing and Communication Director
Joana works at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve since 2013. She is the head of the communication and marketing activities - since deploying communication strategies to promotion and activation initiatives. She has a direct contact with the events promoters to ensure a correct implementation of the promotional activities according to the protocols. She is also the press officer for national and international competitions.

João Catita

Job Titles:
  • Chief Operating Director
João began working at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve during 2008 - while the racetrack was being built. He is the head of the racetrack operations. João has a wide experience in special facilities and safety.

Nuno Luz

Nuno joined the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve during the construction phase back in 2008, as sports commissioner. Currently, he is the head of the Motorsports Park maintenance and the responsible for the set-up of events.
