Our property covers over 861 acres which includes 12 major facilities, 27 parks, 13 fieldhouses and numerous miles of walking trails. At the Glenview Park District, we manage and preserve our community's most precious lands that possess both natural and cultural significance. In July 1927, the Glenview Park District was formed as a distinct governmental unit with its own mission: to acquire open space for parks and to develop recreational opportunities for the people it serves...
