Commodore Jena had over four decades of rich experience (both in Indian Navy and Telecom corporate sector) in the field of R&D, Indigenous Development of Electronics/Communication/Weapon Systems, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development and Project Management. He has substantial contribution in development of Indian telecom ecosystem and has to his credit formation of 16 Start-ups in PPP model. He had been the main architect for creation of 08 Telecom Centres of Excellence (TCOE) in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode for Industry led Innovation in IITs, IISc and IIM; and had managed these centres as its Director for over eight years. He was also the founding CEO of Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) that works towards adequate availability of skilled manpower to boost growth of telecom sector. Narayan holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Sharad Sadhu

Sharad Sadhu's industry career spans more than 50 years, covering the areas of Radio and TV broadcasting, satellite TV, spectrum regulation and standards at the ITU and APT, technology leadership and international conferences in the Asia-Pacific, catalyzing digital radio and digital TV in countries around this region, in mobile services and in allied fields. Sharad was Director Technology of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union till 2013. He previously worked as Director Engineering in Doordarshan-India, General Manager in TCIL, Professor in the Film and TV Institute of India and as Advisor Technology and International Relations to the CEO of Prasar Bharati. Currently he is a Technology Consultant helping out in projects on digital radio, OTT and radio streaming, automotive entertainment, SatCom and advocating use of efficient technologies in 4G, 5G mobile industry. For 24 years, Sharad participated in and served at the ITU in 8 world conferences (spectrum and regulation) and in Study Groups (WARC-1988 to WRC-2012). He contributed as a Senior Expert to many ITU projects, including for the ITU Akademie. Sharad spearheaded the expansion of Doordarshan India's satellite services and contingency plans. Sudhir Gupta had a long and illustrious career spanning 35 years in the telecommunication industry. He has worked in different capacities in planning, switching, transmission and external plant in the Department of Telecommunications from 1982 to 2003. Subsequently, he worked in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for 14 years, initially as a senior advisor and in the last 3 years as Secretary, TRAI. Having worked for over three and half decades as the operator, policy maker and the regulator, he has exposure in all aspects of Telecom functioning in the country. During his tenure in TRAI, he was responsible for all regulatory matters related to telecommunications network development, spectrum management, licensing, tariff fixation, competition issues and consumer issues. As the lead specialist for the Authority, he has authored a number of major policy recommendations and regulatory guidelines on varied issues like introduction of 3G+ services via spectrum auction, separation of services and spectrum, need for open SatCom policy, introduction of converged unified licensing, M&A norms, mobile number portability, guidelines for spectrum trading and sharing framework, roadmap for development and growth of ICT sector and its applications (e.g. e-government, mobile content, m-banking) for financial inclusion. He has also used his leadership position to advocate for the use of telecommunications during disasters and emergencies, improvement in Quality of service and consumer grievance redressal mechanism by the telecom operators. I was also associated in framing the policy guidelines on Cloud, smart cities and M2M communications. During his tenure, he has represented the Authority in Inter ministerial Co-ordination Committee (ICC) for INSAT for around 8-9 years.
