As a shareholder in Summit Water, you own a proportionate share of the company and are entitled to a specific increment of water based on your share certificate. For most residential shareholders the increment of water that you own is .76 acre feet. This is equivalent to 247,630 gallons during each water year which begins January 1st and ends December 31st...
