Tom Yip established Tom's Model Inc. in 1980, primarily catering to toy retailers within North America. In 2010, Tom's son, Tommy Yip, assumed the position as President of the company. Since then Tom's Model Inc. has developed a new business model which not only distributes to retailers but direct to consumers. Tom's Model inc. has an array of products which are suitable for anyone ranging from the novice hobbyist to the advance collectors.
