VELVET GLOVE PRODUCTION - Key Persons

Ian Stoker-Long

Ian Stoker-Long is a multi disciplinary filmmaker and photographer who loves to tell human stories with his images. Originally from Boston, Ian grew up on film sets, working his way up from PA, to talent wrangler, to Assistant Director, learning from the best, and honing his own unique set of creative skills along the way. He creates dynamic, emotionally engaging brand films, commercials, and photographs with a special affinity for all things sports. For Ian, the goal is always to uncover the small emotional truths within the awe-inspiring feats of athleticism. To find the feelings in the thrills, and the thrills in the feelings. Whether the pictures are still or moving, they are always compelling. When Ian isn't ON SET, he loves shooting live fights (Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA) and spending time with his family, back home on the farm.
