Clare makes sure that our finance department ticks like clockwork and that the accuracy and timeliness of our reporting is 100%. Outside of work Clare is a keen sportswoman, has an interest in fashion, enjoys fine food and as much travel as she can fit into her schedule. She also has four children with her husband Justin which takes up a fair bit of time too.
Clare Rush joined Abacus in 2010 as a career changer, she was formerly a Teacher for 10 years and is probably the most well qualified member of our team. She holds two Masters degrees and completed the Accounting Technician studies in record time gaining a distinction, Clare is in the process of completing CIMA studies during 2021.

Another August 2022 joiner to the Abacus team, Jenna is a recent First Class honours Psychology graduate who is new to the recruitment world.

New to the team in 2021, Jude is another addition to the internal finance team. Jude will take responsibility for a range of areas including AP, AR and Payroll while he continues his ACCA studies.
Jude gained a BSc Hons degree in accounting and marketing with a distinction from UU then worked with a regional accounting firm in his native Donegal. Outside of work he enjoys participating in and playing sports, mainly football. He also is not too hard to persuade to go out for dinner and drinks. Luckily, his partner Hannah is (nearly) always around to accompany him!
