As a healthcare provider, we are required by law to publish a quality of care account report and make it available to the public. Quality Accounts are an important way for local services contracted to the NHS to report on quality and show improvements in the services they deliver to local communities and stakeholders... We receive some government funding towards our care, but rely on donations, legacies, charity shops, charitable trusts and people playing our Lottery or coming to our events to meet the cost of providing our exceptional care and support. We must raise over £2 million each year... St Cuthbert's Hospice provide free care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and people that are bereaved.
