ADEC PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENTS - Key Persons
Burke has 40 years of experience in investing in privately owned companies. Burke founded ADEC Private Equity Investments, LLC in 1992 to serve as his family's principal investment vehicle. Since inception, ADEC Private Equity has made well in excess of 100 investments in both private companies and in third party sponsored private equity funds, both spanning multiple industries. Prior to founding ADEC Private Equity, Burke served as Executive Vice President and Partner of Wesray Capital. Founded by former Secretary of the Treasury, William E. Simon and Raymond Chambers, Wesray was one of the leveraged buyout pioneers and from 1983 to 1992 acquired over 25 companies including Avis Rent-A-Car, Wilson Sporting Goods, Six Flag Theme Parks, Atlas Van Lines and Outlet Communications. Burke is a graduate of Princeton University and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Ed joined ADEC Private Equity in 2018. Ed has 10 years of experience in investing in privately owned companies. Prior to ADEC Private Equity, Ed worked for six years as an Associate at HealthCor Partners, a late stage venture and growth equity healthcare investment firm. Prior to HealthCor, Ed served as an Analyst at Moag and Company, a sports-focused boutique investment and advisory firm. Ed is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
