ANACORTES PRIDE

Anacortes Pride was founded in the summer of 2021 when a group of like-minded folks got together on Facebook and decided to enter a pride float in the Anacortes 4th of July parade. Over 100 community members participated and, while the reception wasn't 100% positive, much of the city welcomed the new Pride group with cheers and support. Over the following months, Anacortes Pride began to hold its own events and formed a board and an official non-profit entity. Our first Pride Parade will be held June 18th, 2022, in downtown Anacortes followed by a Pride Party at Causland Park. We look forward to seeing you there!... To celebrate and bring together the LGBTQIA+ community in Anacortes, bringing awareness to the need for diversity and inclusion in all forms, in support of liberation for all... We are working to make Anacortes Pride an integral and always-visible part of our beautiful community. Anacortes Pride welcomes all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies.
