BOONSBOROUGH MUSEUM OF HISTORY

The Boonsborough Museum of History was established by Douglas Garns Bast (1937-2021). Doug was the third generation family member to own and operate Bast of Boonsboro. Founded as a cabinet shop in 1837 and evolved into a furniture store, it operated 174 years until Doug retired. His real love, however, was the Boonsborough Museum of History which he founded out of a life-long love of history and operated for 46 years... The Boonsborough Museum of History, founded in 1975, features vast collections of artifacts of historical significance locally and around the globe.
