Carolina Rios Monsalve

Carolina is originally from Colombia, but has lived in the US for more than half of her life, so she considers Miami her home. She studied Communications and Marketing at Florida International University and worked for international corporations for many years. Because of her desire to help others develop resilience and well-being practices, and her passion for social justice, she pursued her Master's Degree in International Studies and Development from the University of Miami. She is a Teacher in Training of Mindful Self-Compassion from the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. Carolina is an experienced social justice advocate and project director who has worked implementing and marketing social programs and initiatives in top tier universities. She currently leads the Center for Human Rights and Social Justice and the 1 Human Trafficking Coalition Project at Barry University School of Social Work. In this role, she leads the strategic planning, as well as the conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of change-oriented, contemplative social programs directed at promoting wellness in marginalized communities. She is an advocate for women's rights and well-being. Carolina lives in Miami Shores with her young son, husband and dog. She is an animal and nature lover, musician and spiritual seeker. She loves to travel and does so often.

Diana Carolina was born in Colombia; for four years she has been based in South Florida; United States, is an administrator of public and private companies at the Sergio Arboleda University in Colombia. For 18 years she has worked at Happy Sleep Mattresses. During the first 3 years she served as assistant manager and 15 years as General Manager. This company is dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of sleeping products. Her leadership and experience in the design of strategies has allowed her to consolidate the growth of the brand in the Colombian market. Influenced by the entrepreneur spirit of her family who founded the business group in which she works today, she saw in companies' great potential for professional and social development, but above all the opportunity to build a country after generating new jobs. and the growth of these. Facing the generational transition of corporate governance in a family business with more than 30 years of existence is one of its main achievements. For her, companies are much more than income statements, it is human wealth that gives true value to the organizational world. Motivated by this concern, in 2019 she is certified as a Business Ontological Coach at Rafael Echevarria's Newfield Consulting School. Being an Ontological Coach means a universe of transformations in her life. Her main purpose is to share her learnings and experiences with the people around her, seeking to build a better society. That is why the Amandi Foundation, of which she is a co-founder, becomes the perfect vehicle to reach vulnerable sectors where it can contribute to the construction of new skills that allow social transformation in the world.

Born in Venezuela, I am the youngest daughter of Delia and Nicolás who have showed me with their actions me the importance of learning, gratitude, humility and forgiveness. In the path of learning, I have pursued my degree in Human Resources, and a Master degree in Industrial Relations. I have also been trained as a business consultant and facilitator in different countries and have published some papers for some organizations. I proudly represent Newfield Consulting in the United States, where I graduated as an ontological coach. I am thankful for my life, my life partner, our four children, their partners, the four grandchildren I have and the ones that may come. Forgiving was the reason I studied ontological coaching in 1997 and it awaken the desire in my to show all that I have learnt that changed my life. I later became a senior ontological coach and Master Coach in the FICOP.
