GLOBAL HEALTH INITIATIVE

Founded in 2016, GHI aims to fulfill Children's National Hospital's core value of "caring for ALL children" by improving pediatric health outcomes around the world while enriching the experiences of Children's National Staff. GHI provides a platform within Children's National for concerted oversight of health education and research projects involving both experienced faculty and emerging leaders in global health... To improve care provided for children globally, the GHI aims to increase access to medical resources for low- and middle-income communities while ensuring quality and sustainability of these resources. As one of the world's leading children's hospitals, Children's National is well equipped to provide technical expertise across a range of pediatric sub-specialties.
