HABA HUNGER

Founded in July 2021, HABA Hunger is a nonprofit organization seeking to eliminate child hunger in Africa. With headquarters in Houston, Texas, we champion the wellbeing of the African child generously providing nutritious groceries to families with children who are in dire need... At HABA Hunger, we understand that the number of food insecure children in Nigeria and the rest of Africa is likely to continue spiking amid the hard economic conditions and the current pandemic. As such, we take action by helping hungry children and families meet their immediate and long-term food needs... At HABA Hunger, we seek to empower children by advocating for fairness in accessing sufficient, nutritious, and safe food. We leverage our experience in hunger mitigation by predicting and identifying families facing malnutrition. We work with like-minded individuals to raise awareness of the devastating effects of hunger across the continent.
