Dr. Nijher obtains an extensive medical background including earning her degree from JJM Medical College, training in Pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center, and serving on the faculty in the Pediatric Department of the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. She has also served many years in private practice in Ocala and serves as an active member of the community. She takes particular interest in causes and organizations that work to better the mental, social, and physical health of children. Beyond this, Dr. Nijher serves on various boards of educational and civil rights organizations nationally.

Dr. Taub graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis with a degree in Chemical Engineering and received his Medical Doctor degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He serves as a urology specialist and has been instrumental in the formation of the Central Florida Urology Specialists and the Advanced Urology Institute where he currently serves as Vice President. Within the community, Dr. Taub has served on the Board of Temple Beth Shalom of Ocala, Florida, the Medical Executive Board of Munroe Regional Medical Center (now Advent Health, Ocala) and as the Medical Staff President.

Janet W. Behnke received her BSJM and Juris Doctor from the University of Florida and currently practices private law in Ocala. She has served as a county court judge for Marion County, past president of the Marion County Bar Association and of the Florida School Board Attorney's Association. Janet was the first woman to practice law in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida and completed a 5-year term on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners where she currently serves as an Emeritus member.

Kay Fleischaker's passion for teaching and education started in her adolescent years and continued to grow as she attended George Peabody College for Teachers to earn her bachelor's and master's degree. She has served over 30 years as an elementary counselor for three diverse Marion County Public Schools. In the community, Kay has taught Sunday school and served on the Board of Directors for Temple Beth Shalom of Ocala, FL.

Robert Colen is an experienced leader and professional with more than 16 years of expertise in construction services, property management, government relations, and community outreach. After attending The American University, serving as a Legislative Assistant, and receiving his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Florida, Robert moved to Ocala to work at On Top of the World in construction services. Currently, Robert serves as Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission for Marion County, and is a member of the Independent Citizens Referendum Oversight Committee for the Marion County School Board. In 2015, Robert was appointed Chairman of the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County and continues to serve in that capacity.
