Ismael Etxeberria-Agiriano is an Associate Professor at the University College of Engineering, University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 2005. He received his degree in Electronics Engineering and his degree in Computer Science from the University of Mondragon (Spain). He received his PhD in Computer Science from the Staffordshire University (Great Britain). His main research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Applied Ethics, Computer Security, Distributed Computing and ICTs. He has been lecturer at the University of Mondragon. He worked three years as consultant for the Crédit Lyonnais in Paris (France) and continued working for financial application for another three years before returning to education.

Itziar Martínez de Alegría

Itziar Martínez de Alegría is Graduated in Business Administration and Economic Sciences by the Facultad de Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales (Sarriko) of the University of Basque Country (UPV-EHU). She as a PhD in Economics in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Bilbao (ETSIB) of the UPV/EHU and has a Master in European Studies by the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and the University of Deusto (Spain). From the year 2000 she has worked as Professor Assistant at the ETSIB in the areas of Economics and Business Management. She has written a wide number of articles, book chapters and other publications in the areas of Energy, Climate Change Policy and Sustainable Development. She has also been a speaker in different International and National Congress related with the aforesaid areas.
