Founded in 2008, Latino Empowerment Project is Lancaster County's only leadership empowerment program that was created by Latinx for Latinx... The Latino Empowerment Project strives to support, empower, and celebrate Latinidad through cultural awareness, leadership training, and project based learning. We meet for 10 weeks every Spring in curated workshops that culminate in class presentations and a graduation honoring the hard work our LEP cohort has done... While cultivating collaboration among Latinx folks, our vision is to inspire members to embrace their identity in developing habits of leadership so they can go forth in creating a platform for social change by engaging the broader community.
