The Manhattan Building Company was founded in Toledo in 1924. For many years the company's holdings were concentrated in Greater Downtown Toledo. In 1995 the company began to transform itself into a more active real estate company. The company reduced its holdings in the Uptown District - located between the Central Business District and the Historic Old West End of Toledo and at the same time began to acquire properties in Arrowhead Park, the premier suburban office park in Northwest Ohio. By the end of the decade The Manhattan Building Company owned one office building in downtown Toledo and five properties in Arrowhead Park located in Maumee, Ohio...
