Dr. Francisca Njoku

Dr. Francisca Njoku is a diligent Nurse, an entrepreneur, and a community health advocate. She obtained her basic Nursing/Midwifery education at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital of Nigeria, where she served in several nursing positions before moving to Belize, Central America. While living in Belize, Dr. Njoku did not relent in pursuing her nursing education, hence obtained a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) at the University of Belize. Her versatile education and clinical experience have earned her the term "international nurse" among her peers. Shortly after migrating to the United States of America, Dr. Njoku obtained her master's in nursing degree from the City University of New York with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She became board certified within a few months of her graduation. To fulfil her academic excellence trajectory, she progressed and obtained a terminal degree from Walden University. Dr. Njoku's nursing excellence has earned her several positions and awards. She received the best nurse of the year award in 2008, New York nurse of the year award in 2016, and an amazing employee of the year in 2019 in her organization. She is currently working at North Central Bronx Hospital and Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Njoku is an adjunct Professor with the Montefiore School of Nursing. As an entrepreneur, Dr Francisca Njoku is the Executive Director for Heart Alive Training Incorporated. Heart Alive Training is a business geared towards training and re-certifying healthcare professionals in emergency care. The business trains and re-certifies nurses, doctors and auxiliary healthcare workers in Basic Life support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Classes are done in a comfortable and non- threating learning environment. She contributes to her local Nigerian community association. Dr. Njoku is the New York Medical Representation for Orlu Cultural Federation (OCUFE). The association conducts yearly medical missions in Nigeria, helping the under-privileged and those who cannot afford medical care. Dr. Njoku has the passion of extending her selfless service to the under-served community in Nigeria. She is in the process of championing Francisca Njoku's Foundation. A Foundation that will aim at helping the widows, providing scholarships, and feeding the poor. Dr. Francisca is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North American (NANNNA), Nigerian Nurses Association of USA (NNAUSA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is an active member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc. Francisca lives in the Bronx New York with her husband and 4 awesome children.

Dr. Olayemi Odeniyi

Olayemi Odeniyi, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with special interest in prison medicine and family medicine. She completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Dutchess Community College 2004, and then earned her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University Long Island, New York in 2010 and then her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana in 2014. She has a strong background in emergency and critical care nursing. She is currently practicing in one of the Maximum security prisons in New York. As an Adjunct Professor of Nursing Practice at Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York, she teaches Nurse Practitioner Students. She is a coach and a mentor to many nursing and non-nursing students and she is well loved by them. Her love and passion for her community made her to serve on the Agency Advisory Council for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York since 2017. As the Food Bank representative for her County she provides mentorship and guidance to fellow Food Bank member agencies working to address food insecurity in the County. She is a writer and a published author. She enjoys cooking and decorating.

Reagan is a licensed, Board Certified Advanced Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 10+years' experience in psychiatry. My areas of expertise include Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Impulsivity/aggression, and ADHD. I provide psychotropic medication management in combination with a wide variety of psychotherapy techniques to help my clients (Children to Adult) achieve and maintain optimal health. In my 11 years in psychiatry, I have come to a convincing understanding that in order to achieve optimal mental health state, feeling better is a treatment failure; rather FEELING WELL is the goal. My practice & treatment modalities are guided by this very principle as I utilize the newest and safest guided evidence based-techniques.
