NX Aviation, a small aerospace company based at the Stafford Regional Airport, has secured a contract with the University of Maryland to provide drone pilot services this year... NX Aviation is built on the experience of founder Colin J. Fischer. Mr. Fischer lead several special flight programs development teams from 2009 to 2013 in the development, fielding, and testing of new drone-based technologies for NASA at Wallops Flight Facility, including a new Mars re-entry system and several other smaller aircraft-based systems. Mr. Fischer left NASA to pursue flying in the Air Force Reserves, and founded NX Aviation in 2015 after flight school... NX Aviation provides flight test and aerospace mission support for company and government projects.
