PROJECT REDESIGN

Full civic participation assumes that government services are accessible to all. Project Redesign aims to deliver dramatically better public services to all Americans. The Project does through people-centered practices, developing better ways to access government services. When people interact with public services that work well, they're more likely to trust their government and take part in civic life. That, in turn, helps foster a vibrant democracy that includes all of us... CHI partnerships have changed the way governments go about their work, reintroduced civics to our classrooms, redirected investments, influenced national and local conversations resulting in enhancing civic life, and bolstered a network of civic leaders across the country. By 2020, our goal is to integrate this pioneering initiative into ongoing partnerships in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
