Rotary is a worldwide organization of business, professional, and community leaders. Its members, known as Rotarian, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. With the motto "Service above Self," Rotary International was founded in 1905 A.D. To carry out this main objective of service Rotary Club of Pokhara Annapurna was established under the efficient leadership of Rtn. Dev Raj Chalise on 1st February 2006 along with thirty-three charter members... On 25th February 2006 Rotary Club of Pokhara Annapurna was given a certificate of affiliation to Rotary International by DG Mr. Sapan Mukharji. Since its inception, the Rotary Club of Pokhara Annapurna has conducted various programs and projects with a vision of service to the community.
