As a proud veteran, Brian Thomason has served as a naval engineer and recruiter - and as a civilian, he worked as a staff engineer, project manager and a regional operations manager before becoming a member of the Tutera team. These days, he's in charge of facilitating improvement and maintenance projects for Tutera-owned and -managed properties. Whether it's a planned expansion or needed repair, his expertise will guide the way.

Brian was raised on a farm in Bucyrus, Kansas, but he's lived in several states - including Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania and California. Nowadays, he is proud to reside here in Kansas City alongside his loving wife. Brian has two children.

As Senior Vice President of Real Estate, Jeff Taylor oversees leasing at current properties along with directing strategy for our new development activities. With a long history in commercial real estate, department store buying and property management, Jeff uses his natural talent and wealth of experience to navigate this fast-paced industry. He loves building great working relationships with clients, getting to know their personalities and meeting their needs.

Mr. Tutera is a graduate of Boston College with degrees in finance, computer science and marketing. As a founder of the Tutera Group and its affiliated companies, Mr. Tutera sets the tone for our firm and utilizes his talents to help clients every day.

With 12 years under her belt at the Tutera Group in various roles, Kiley Brooks is used to wearing a lot of different hats. She's directly involved with many integral parts of our business - like collaborating with all divisions to develop the tools to increase operational efficiency and identify new opportunities. Kiley also handles government reporting and compliance, income tax planning and business development.

Leo Harris has accomplished a lot in his career in finance. He's been a senior VP at Valley View Bank, permanent product specialist at KeyBank and vice president at Thellman Financial, to name just a few of his past positions. At Tutera Real Estate, Leo leverages his decades of experience to analyze acquisition and development opportunities and help build properties toward stability and growth.

Hailing from the Kansas City area, Leo has spent over six decades here. He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Ottawa University and his MBA from the University of Kansas. Leo is also a proud father to two sons and two daughters.

Prior to joining the Tutera team, Kansas City native and Executive Vice President of Real Estate Matt Kaushal spent the majority of his career in private equity and commercial real estate. He served diverse asset classes, including mixed-use residential, retail, office, medical and infrastructure development, helping clients manage their portfolios and execute accretive real estate investments. Now he oversees our commercial portfolio, driving value and NOI growth for clients and implementing our overall investment strategy.
